Vacant Land

When you think of the sunny skies and the beaches, it’s hard not to want to buy land in Florida.

Here is what you need to know when buying land, especially when you’re hoping to build on the property:

  • Is the land platted or can it be platted.
  • Consider the value of homes/building in the neighborhood.
  • Take utilities and road access into account.
  • Make environmental test to ensure the plot of land can be built on.
  • Obtain Survey to reflect any encroachments and map out any setbacks required for utility companies and city.
  • Verify zoning and code of ordinances of the City prior to building.
